There is still a market out there for albums. Just ask Taylor Swift. First her album Speak Now roared into stores in late October 2010 and sold more copies in one week than any album in the last five years. Now, after just seven weeks of release, the collection has been certified triple platinum by the RIAA for shipment of over three million copies. Now all three of Taylor Swift's studio albums have gone triple platinum or beyond. Her self-titled debut is sitting on a quadruple platinum certification, and Fearless is leading with six times platinum certification. In addition, the single "Love Story" has sold over five million copies. Taylor Swift is now in a horse race for top selling album of the year with the also triple platinum certified Need You Now by Lady Antebellum.

Panic! At The Disco Announce 3rd Album
While in Germany recently to perform at the Telekom Extreme Playgrounds, Panic! At The Disco confirmed the titles of their next album and forthcoming new single in an interview with Disordered Kitten.
Panic! At The Disco's third album will be entitled 'Vices & Virtues' - "all the songs really relate to that title, all of them have to do with an inner battle" - and is expected to be released on March 8th, 2011. The first single is (tentatively) called 'Mona Lisa' and is expected to be released in late January next year.
Of the upcoming single, frontman Brendon Urie said: "Mona Lisa is a metaphor for the story that takes place in the song. It seems like it's about a guy and a girl but really it's more about a fight inside yourself. It's a schizophrenic kinda thing where you don't have to rely on people..."

Katy Perry: Call Me Mrs. Brand!
Katy Perry chats with Ellen DeGeneres while making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which airs on Wednesday (December 8).
Ellen asked Katy if she has anybody calling her Mrs. Brand after marrying Russell Brand last October.
Katy said “I do actually. Sometimes when people try to get my attention. Like if I’m at an event or something like that and they want special attention. They go, “Mrs. Brand!” and I go shwoosh [looks back].”
Helen Mirren, who stars with Russell in both The Tempest and next year’s Arthur, also makes an appearance on the same show as Katy.
When Ellen told Katy that the 65-year-old actress has a crush on Russell, Katy joked “Yeah, she needs to step off my man!”

Black Eyed Peas Earn Third Top 10 Debut
The Black Eyed Peas return to the top 10 on the albums chart with the follow-up to their multi-platinum release The E.N.D., but their labelmate Soulja Boy didn’t fare as well in this week’s sales.
Will.i.am, Fergie, apl.de.ap, and Taboo’s sixth album The Beginning comes in at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 with 119,000 copies sold in its opening week. In comparison, The E.N.D. topped the charts with 304,000 in the summer of 2009. The group earns their third top 10 entry based on the success of the Dirty Dancing-sampled single “The Time (Dirty Bit),” which peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Peas can blame Susan Boyle, who bumps Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy from the top of the chart down to No. 7 with 108,000. Nicki Minaj’s debut Pink Friday drops six spots to No. 8 with 103,000.
R&B powerhouse Jazmine Sullivan blows in at No. 17 with 57,000 units sold of her sophomore set Love Me Back. Fellow songbird Chrisette Michele finds her third LP Let Freedom Reign entering at No. 25 with 42,000 units.
Meanwhile, Soulja Boy finds his third album The DeAndre Way with meek first-week sales. The “Speakers Going Hammer” rapper only managed to sell 13,000 copies of the disc, putting him way down the chart at No. 79. Comparatively, his 2008 album iSouljaBoyTellem debuted at No. 43 with 45,500 copies sold.

Avril's Album to Be Out March 8th + Artwork
Two years in the making, singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne's fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby, will be released by RCA Records on March 8, 2011. Lavigne will debut the first single "What the Hell" on New Year's Eve during "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve."
Lavigne worked with longtime collaborators Deryck Whibley, Evan Taubenfeld and Butch Walker, as well as songwriter/producer Max Martin. Lavigne continues to share her personal experiences through her writing and music, and Goodbye Lullaby is a further evolution of this, propelled by a more raw and organic sound.
Among its upbeat tracks are "What the Hell," an unabashed embrace of fun and freedom, and "Stop Standing There," fueled by an early-‘50s girl-group feel. The album runs the gamut of emotions: Lavigne expresses her gratitude for special people in her life in the rocker "Smile," explores the dynamics of a relationship in "Push," shows her vulnerable side in "Wish You Were Here," and finds the strength to close one chapter of her life and move on to the next in the title track "Goodbye."

Hilary Duff Music News!
Hilary Duff has revealed that she will return to music when she feels "really inspired".
The singer and actress, whose last album was 2007's Dignity, said that she is keen to release more music but is undecided on what her future record would sound like.
"You know what, I want to and I think that until I feel really inspired by something that I wanna do, like a way I want to go, I couldn't do it," she told Maney and Riley.
"I think one day I'll wake up and I'll say, 'That's exactly it!' you know, and then I could do it. But right now, I'm not focused on that."
Duff is currently promoting her first science-fiction novel, called Elixir.
